Ron Holland – Life member

Ron Holland was one of the founding members or our club and he did so much for the Pomona Lake Ski Club. He provided years of hay rack rides for the kids at Halloween. He drove and pulled pyramids, he actually pulled the pylon out of his inboard. When the club sold firewood at the marina, we borrowed his tractor and log splitter for several years. He also bought his bobcat down and cleared our beach several times when the driftwood was thick. It was his donation that bought our sit skis and enabled us to ski so many. He was the first life member of our club and the nicest guy ever. He will be missed. From today’s paper.

Ron Holland-78 passed away June 3rd in Eureka, Kansas. There will be a time for sharing memories at the Feltner Chapel on Tuesday June 13th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A memorial services is planned in Wichita, Ks. on Wednesday at June 14 at 10:30 a.m. Internment will follow at the Blakley Cemetery near Madison at 2:30 p.m.
