Team Tuesday – Ericha

Our Team Tuesday edition this week features Ericha W, one of our incredible climbers.

Ericha has been skiing with the team for several summers now, and has become invaluable to the team. She climbs pyramids, both normal and backwards. She is one of the few girls in the club who will do a prebuilt backwards start. It’s become her signature start. She does rope doubles, trios, and skis in the ballet line. Did I mention she’s NOT AFRAID. Jan 1st marked her first pyramid in the icy cold water during our annual Polar Bear Ski.

She’s one of those people that just has an infectious smile. Most days she has a really big smile on. She has a way of finding what needs done and just doing it without any fanfare, it just gets done.

Ericha works for Ottawa University, and has a young daughter, Kyah. Ericha is a great mom, most times skipping the social lake life to buzz back home and be with her daughter. We hope Kyah will be old enough to see much more lake time this coming summer. Ericha has become so much more involved in the team this last year and we are so much better with her.
