Finish the dock – gofundme

The club is needing your help to finish the dock. If you can contribute, here is our gofundme

In 2019 the ski club’s dock was destroyed during high winds and historic flooding. We have most of the components to rebuild the dock, but we are short of funds. You know the prices have skyrocketed if you’ve priced treated lumber or steel tubing recently. We have the floats, the walkway, and the dock structure. What we need is the lumber and the steel to finish. We need your support. If you’ve skied with the club, taken lessons, enjoyed one of our ski shows, we ask for your help. If you can’t contribute financially, we ask that you share our request.   The Pomona Lake Ski Club is a 501(c)3 charity. We provide ski lessons for kids, sit-ski clinics for disabled persons, and ski shows for the public. Our junior development program has taught countless kids to waterski over the last 30 years. Our club owns and maintains the only slalom course on public water in Kansas.

With your financial help, we will finish our dock before summer. The dock and walkway are designed to be much more accessible for persons with a disability. Our dock will allow us to do several ski shows, host a sit-ski clinic, and teach more kids to waterski. We ask for your help to complete our dock and fund our programs.
